Just received my two 4000N maintenance kits this afternoon on UPS….
Came in this evening to install the kits and was figuring on spending a few hours installing both…
What a wonderful surprise I received when I had both kits installed and the printers back out on the floor in under 45 min……….

Very helpful, I did a search for my printer maintenance message code and found this site with complete instructions on how to perform. A breakdown of the parts & cost options. PrinterTechs did it all. They give you a great deal on HP kits and then they show you what to do. Stuck? I emailed them and got an answer that same morning. Ive never found that ANYWHERE else.

As an IT Director, I know servers and everything else that goes along with it. Printers have always been a pain. But not any more thanks to PrinterTechs.

I purchased a rebuilt HP 4000 for one of our home office computers from PrinterTechs. It was shipped in very good packing material and arrived on time. The person with whom I spoke on the phone was knowledgeable of all specs for various HP models, and quickly answered my questions concerning which model would best serve our needs. The printer works flawlessly and it looks as new as my other HP 4000 did when it was originally purchased many years ago.

Prompt response, great service. Jeff is the guy to talk to; hes very knowledgable at what hes doing. I was having a problem with my laserjet printer at first, and I wasnt sure which part I need to replace to fix the problem. So I asked Jeff, and he was able to find a solution and sent step-by-step instructions to me on how to disassemble and replace the part.

My Purchase of a HP LaserJet 4 printer was flawless. I had a long relationship using a HP LaserJet 4 in the past so was very happy to find a company that could provide me a refurbished one. IT JUST WORKED out of the box, period. The delivery was perfect and I might add the packaging was even better than the original from HP. I purchased an HP LaserJet 5 fuser and maintenance kit from PrinterTechs.com, Inc. I liked the detailed online instructions with illustrative pictures to make the process easy for the non-techie. PrinterTechs.com, Inc.'s explanation of the use of remanufactured fusers and the need to replace some other parts at the same time with OEM parts from HP was clear and logical. The delivery time for standard shipping ($10) was only 4 days to a secondary city. The product arrived completely undamaged. Following the online illustrated instructions made the process a breeze. During the installation I had two questions due to my lack of technical expertise. Each call was answered within three rings by a knowledgeable technician completely familiar with the model of LaserJet I was working to rescue. There was no waiting AT ALL! What a relief! I had the printer up and running flawlessly in less than one hour. My longtime favorite was back in service! The installation process was so smooth I almost wish I had another printer to repair. To save $50 I shipped the old fuser back to PrinterTech.com, Inc., in the original box. They give you a month to do this, but I sent it back the next day so I could ship it by slow boat. One may find the product for less somewhere on the web, but I am convinced PrinterTech.com, Inc., is the best value--whether or not a person values his or her time. Would I order from them again? In a heartbeat!

Hello, I have used PrinterTechs.com 3 times in the past two years to refurbish our HP4000 series printers. Very quick to ship. Online instructions for installation with pictures were great with the exception of detailing how to remove manual feeder without having the springs fly off everywhere (HP 4100n). Excellent site and I will be sure to use it in the future.

Excellent service! Very informative web site with great instructions. It was very easy to determine which printer refurbishment kit to order and the installation instructions saved me calling for help. Order was received earlier than promised. Not having to pay a fuser core charge and wait for credit is a plus (they will charge you for it if not returned within 30 days.) The only downside I can think of is that they do not sell printer memory so I'll have to find another merchant for that.

When our office printer died we were ready to throw it away and invest [quite a bit of] money in a new unit... I came across www.printertechs.com as I did an online search to see if our printer could possibly be fixed. After reading the [very complete] information on printertechs.com's website I decided to try to fix the unit myself. The refurbished fuser kit that I purchased arrived right on time and was packaged very well. Using the well-illustrated and clear instructions on the printertech.com website I was able to replace the broken part and related rollers in less than 30 mins without any special tools. I was able to completely fix the printer in less time [from placing the order to plugging the unit back in] than it would have taken to receive a new unit from our IT supplier [Dell}. I was REALLY impressed and would strongly recommend PrinterTechs again.

Ran into a glitch installing the maintenance kit. Called late Friday afternoon. The tech who answered the phone listened to my problem and got a senior tech (Jim I think) on the phone who told me how to solve the problem.

We purchased a maintenance kit and fuser for an HP LaserJet. The items were shipped the same day. The items arrived in a few days and were well packaged. Parts looked identical to the parts being replaced.

Online instructions and clear photographs made the process simple and painless. Total time to replace fuser, rollers, pad, transfer roller for someone who had not previously done this work was 20 minutes. When we do the next one, we expect that it will only take about 10 minutes with time for a cup of coffee. EASY!!!

We shipped the old fuser back in the same packaging that was used to send the new parts. Compared to a local shops quote for the same work, we saved $130 on parts and labor. And we have essentially a new printer.

We will be ordering from PrinterTechs.com again. Highly recommended.

I purchased a rebuilt fuser for my HP LaserJet. The new fuser had a small problem (it would have functioned fine, but wasnt the perfect rebuild that I expected). I contacted customer service and they quickly and pleasantly rectified the problem in the manner that I desired. Although it wasn't a perfect transaction, they were very good to deal with, which in my opinion is the most important part of a business transaction. I would do business with this vendor in the future.
